Hosted at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Westcott was excited to be a part of the Photoshop World 2014 conference and expo in April. Each year at Photoshop World, as well as at a variety of industry events, Team Westcott creates shootout bays featuring live models, elaborate themes, backdrops, and of course, beautiful lighting. Here, guests are invited to shoot, allowing photographers to add beautiful images to their portfolio with settings that they could not encounter elsewhere. Photographers are also invited to submit photographs taken at these events in the Westcott shootout contest, where the top three participating photographs are chosen to win prizes and recognition.

With themes including Pocahontas, Holly Golightly, and pirates, Westcott was excited to judge the Photoshop World 2014 shootout contestants. With this beautiful composite image, photographer Jesse Glaves snagged the third place position winning a Modern Vintage background of choice.

And finally, our first place contestant is Florida’s Rich Johnson of Spectacle Photo. His eye-catching image of the pirate below scored him a Spiderlite TD6 Kit!
