There is always beauty in every face you photograph. How can you create beautiful portraits though, without proper lighting? Learn multiple lighting techniques for glamourizing the face in any style of portraiture from celebrity photographer Hernan Rodriguez in Arlington, Texas.
Whether for classic portraiture or fashion, we will cover a range of lighting fundamentals and principles, which can be applied whenever the face is involved. This relates to both male and female. We will embark on a journey to simplify the complexity of lighting by a practical theory and practice approach. In this workshop, Hernan will cover principles, which include:
• How to identify qualities of light related to the face, such as hard light or soft light,
• How to modify light for creating optimum portraits
• How to light men and women
• How to create powerful portraits by using; one, two or three lights.
Hernan will also review the difference between using flash, continuous lighting and natural light. We will create our lighting demonstration using both the Westcott TD6 continuous lights, which will help us see the various lighting patterns that apply to portrait lighting, as well as portable compact flash. This workshop is a must for anyone who photographs the human face, and is open to all levels of photography.
