The crowd at the PSW Shootout

WOW – We couldn’t start this post off without it!

This year’s Photoshop World Spring 2011 in Orlando, FL was amazing! We had such an amazing time with everyone, getting to know all of you as well as helping and educating at the shootout booth this year. We want to thank everyone for stopping by the shootout area! We hope that you were able to walk away with some amazing images to grow your portfolio.

SPEAKERS

We had an amazing list of speakers this year who provided education at not only the Shootout Booth but also the Westcott Booth. Our Top Pro speakers range from Mastercraftsmen to Guru Award Winners. We want to thank all of our speakers for doing such an amazing job: Eric Eggly, Michael Green, Jim Schmelzer, Rick Sammon, Dave Cross, Terry White, Erik Valind, Joey Wright as well as Westcott Technical Rep John D. Williamson and David Piazza.

SETS

Our sets this year started with an idea and ended with a WOW! We want to give a shout out to the other individuals who made the shootout possible: Barbour Backdrops for providing the sets for: Phantom of the Opera, Jester, Queen of Hearts, Marie Antoinette, Rapunzel, and High Fashion. Also, for our props brought in by Orlando Shakespeare Theater and the Orlando Repertory Theatre.

MODELS/MAKEUP

What’s a model without a look – this is where our makeup artist does what she does best! Thank you to our makeup artist Candace Corey for her amazing work on our models! And finally, our wonderful models who played the parts, were amazing working with all the photographers and made the shootout booth: Rebekah Corey and (from Benz Modeling Agency) Andrea Wong, Hope Roberts, Quan Nguyen, Courtney Grant, Rachael Todd and Heather Flora.

BIG THANK YOU

We again want to thank the attendees who attended the shootout. All your fantastic questions to our speakers were much appreciated and we can’t wait to see your final images! A BIG thanks goes out to NAPP for allowing us to do a shootout again this year! It appears the NAPP crew had some fun too!
