    I purchased the $69.90 kit last week for a workshop put on by two Westcott Pros this past Sunday.. The kit was delivered by timely, on Thursday. I put the kit together in order to be aware of it’s set up and how it worked with my equipment, then broke it down and packed it away. On Sunday I arrived at the work shop and started using the lighting kit. By the end of the day, the umbrella had fallen apart and the convertible cover cannot be used. The light stand also had an issue where one of the bolts holding the legs together fell apart. I will now have to send it back to and be without the equipment until it can be returned. I emailed Westcott several days ago and have not heard from anyone. It’s a little frustrating to say the least. I’m not really sure what to do in regards to replacing the kit, because I do not want to tie up more money and time replacing it with like equipment. Any help from Westcott would be appreciated.

I am not sure what happened to any email you sent in and did not get answered, but emails sent in to our “info@” are usually answered the same day if during our business hours or at least within 24 hours.

      Regardless, let’s tackle your product concerns. Please note: our products carry a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects which sounds like you’re dealing with. First of all, what is the issue with the cover that is not allowing you to use the umbrella anymore? Second, if you were sent a replacement bolt would that fix the issue?
