In this B&H Event Space seminar, David Brommer covers the basic concepts of photographic composition as established by the masters of the Renaissance. Commencing with the classic rule of thirds and leaping into theories of color and balance, David touches upon a range of topics, including image construction, positive and negative space, as well as other advanced composition. David talks about the history of art in this video and shows proof of composition techniques being used by some of the most well known painters and artists. This 120 minute video will take you through some of the basics of photographic composition using photos as examples, all the way through some of the more advanced topics.
