TOLEDO, Oh. – Feb. 1, 2009 – The maker of Photo Basics by Westcott, the only truly educational lighting system, introduces an adapter for the new uLite with 4 sockets. The 4-Socket Adapter for the uLite allows users to quickly adapt the light head to work with up to four daylight-balanced fluorescent lamps. This adapter is meant for use with fluorescent lamps only. The maximum wattage per socket is 30 watts. Westcott offers 30-watt fluorescents in a three-pack (#414) that are daylight balanced at 5500 degrees Kelvin.

With digital imaging, constant lighting is preferred as it allows the user to see the image prior to capture just as the camera would and there is no need for second guessing with meters and slaves. Constant lighting also allows you to easily see lighting patterns.

The 20" x 20″ soft box specifically designed for the uLite is just as unique because it is collapsible and sets up in seconds.  As digital camera sales continue to increase, it is no wonder that photographic accessories and studio lighting continue to be on the rise. PhotoBasics.Net® once again is making it easy for new photographers to invest in studio lighting with the uLite. With the many uLite kit options and easy set-up and tear-down there is no longer a reason to hesitate in purchasing studio lighting!

The 4-Socket Adapter (#413) is retailed at only $17.90.
