[FRAMED] Announces the [F] Network Official Launch
Eagle, ID / May 1st, 2012 – MediaPoint Studios announced the release of their brand new and much anticipated free photography educational platform, [F] Network.
What started as a show of behind the scenes education and inspiration has now transitioned into an incredibly free and interactive interface that will feature shows, tools, applications and a community sanctuary for the aspiring and professional photographer. Artists will be able to join in by creating their own [F] Network ‘passport’ which ultimately gives the participant full access to the entire network. Members of the network will then be able to participate in giveaways from partners, interactive homework sections, collaboration, contests and connections.
Partnering with the internationally known powerhouse, B&H, [F] Network will bring viewers an entirely new lineup of educational shows four days a week. The lineup includes the flagship [FRAMED] show, LitUp with Joel Grimes, PhotoPro with Kevin Kubota, and Film Ryan Muirhead, Tanja Lippert and Tia Reagan, with music provided by Triple Scoop Music.
“Everything we’ve created on the [F] Network is free. And when we say free, we mean it. No bait and switch. Free shows, free downloads of shows, free education, free community, and coming soon to [F] Network more free tools, sites, applications and resources that will assist in the growth of the photographer…no matter what their level,” says Philip Niu, CEO and co-founder of [F] Network.
Powered by Season 3 partner, Bay Photo Lab, and hosted by Melissa Niu, the very first episode of [FRAMED] Season 3 launches Tuesday, May 8th. Viewers should expect a jam-packed season full of both unique, established, and up and coming artists from Los Angeles, New York, Texas, Georgia, Oregon, Illinois, Tennessee and more.
Hosted by the talented commercial photographer, Joel Grimes, LitUp is set to launch Wednesday, May 9th powered by partner, Westcott. Grimes shares his life’s journey of photography and studio lighting with his most famous portraits and composites. In partnership with WHCC and Adobe, top ten, world renowned wedding photographer, Kevin Kubota hosts PhotoPro, launching Thursday, May 10th on the [F] Network. Kubota gives a 16-week season of post processing, lighting, marketing tips, business advice, and more in his ever-clever and engaging manner. Film photographers Ryan Muirhead, Tanja Lippert and Tia Reagan bring us the entertaining, emotional roller coaster of the love, education, hardship, and challenges of being a photographer on the brand new show, Film. Powered by Richard Photo Lab and FujiFilm, launching May 11th, the hosts not only teach what they know about photography and film, but they too become the students from special film artists and guest appearances throughout the sixteen episode season.
“The expansion and growth of the [F] Network platform is soon to come. In upcoming months we will also be releasing new free applications such as Fixer, [F] Bomb, Fetch, Fidddle and more,” Niu explains. “If there is a tool or resource that photographers need, we aim to provide it…for free.”
