So, you may remember a blog post a few months ago where I talked about a cover shoot for ESPN Rise magazine. I LOVE shooting editorial jobs for magazines but the one downside is usually I have to wait several months until the images are published before I can do a blog post. I’ve actually been very busy shooting several jobs for ESPN Rise that I will blog about in the near future. Good stuff, really fun shoots. Finally, here are the tearsheets from the shoot I did back in June of Cross Country runner Nathan Vassey. We did the shoot down in Peachtree City where he lives and I must say, it’s a beautiful place. He was really great to work with and we had a lot of fun on the shoot.
As you may or may not know, Westcott has chosen me this year as one of their top pros. Westcott makes awesome lighting gear, lighting accessories and modifiers, really great stuff. They sent me a bunch of gear that I used for the first time on this particular shoot. I can’t say enough about their Westcott Octabank modifier. Used with my Alien Bees lights it creates the most awesome soft light I’ve ever achieved. It is now my main light on most every shoot. Thanks Westcott!
And now the tearsheets:
