Photographer Tobin S. reviews the Westcott Ice Light in this week’s Real Deal Review. In this review, Tobin talks about some of the practical ways he uses the Ice Light as well as the Pro’s and Con’s of the Ice Light. Tobin mentions that now with the Ice Light, he is able to work at different hours of the day and even shows examples with a model. Finally, see some real photo examples that Tobin was able to capture during this review and see the quality of light, as well as how the light will fall.
The Ice light is a portable handheld daylight light source that is fully dimmable. The Ice Light allows photographers a portable option if there is limited space to setup an entire photo studio. If you don’t have an assistant, the Ice Light is easy to mount, with a built in 1/4 – 20 thread on both sides. The beauty of continuous light is that you can see how light patterns fall before the shot, therefore eliminating the test shot and creating a better workflow. The Ice Light was Created for multiple uses including photography and videography.
