Westcott Top Pro Justin Van Leeuwen walks viewers through brief outdoor photo shoot using the 26″ Octa Rapid Box. Justin demonstrates how quickly this light modifier is set-up due to an umbrella-style frame. A single Rapid Box raised over his subject as able to illuminate a full-body portrait. For a classic head shot, Justin brings the Rapid Box closer to his model and utilizes a Westcott Silver/White Reflector to add fill light. A reflector is referred to by some photographers as the most valuable piece of equipment to have in a photo bag. 5 in 1 reflectors have the ability to not only reflect light onto the subject, but can also diffuse and subtract light.

The Rapid Box allows photographers to mount their speedlite flash on the outside of the modifier for those photographers who need line of sight. The Rapid Box comes in three different sizes. The largest Rapid Box is the 26″ Octa, followed by the 20″ Octa Mini, and the 10″ x 24″ Strip. The most unique thing about the Rapid Box is the ability to turn it into a beauty dish with the addition of the deflector plate. This accessory allows for a more dramatic lighting effect.
