Ric is an internationally published photographer specializing in fine art portraiture, underwater, fashion, maternity, and boudoir. He has obtained numerous awards and accolades in many photographic competitions. Of all the genres of photography his two main passions are maternity and underwater portraiture. Ric travels and teaches workshops as well as speaks or runs photo booths at photography conventions and retreats domestically and internationally.
Ric discovered Westcott Lighting between 2023-2024. He purchased two FJ400’s after learning that Westcott sells a universal transmitter that works with most camera systems making it an easy decision for his conference classes and retreats where he needs lights that will work for all of his student’s different camera models and brands. When he’s not taking pictures or teaching workshops he works as an engineer specializing in nuclear/molecular imaging. Ric is also an ambassador for Spider Camera Holster, Outex, Cheetah Stand, and UAF Photo Lab. The most important thing for Ric as a photographer is that every client, every photographer, and every creative walks away from every interaction with him feeling loved, inspired, and important.
