Glyn Dewis is a Photographer, Author, and Educator based in the South West of the UK.

Recognised around the world for his Portrait Photography and Post-Processing skills, Glyn is a popular speaker at photography events and conferences, where his down-to-earth teaching style and creative approach have inspired photographers at every level.

With over 16 years in the industry, his work has included collaborations with clients such as the BBC and Sky TV, and in 2017 he was named an Adobe MAX Master at the Adobe MAX Conference in Los Angeles.

The author of four best-selling books on Photography and Retouching, Glyn also runs a thriving YouTube channel, sharing tutorials, behind-the-scenes insights, and creative techniques with a global audience of photographers and retouchers.

A BenQ Ambassador, Westcott Top Pro, and regular Instructor for the Lightroom and Photoshop Virtual Summits, Glyn is also part of the prestigious Photoshop World Dream Team.

Alongside his commercial and educational work, Glyn is the Founder and Photographer of The 39-45 Portraits Project – a self-funded initiative photographing World War II Veterans to create timeless portraits as a heartfelt “thank you” for their service and sacrifice.

While Portrait Photography remains at his core, Glyn has more recently embraced new creative tools, from drones to mobile phones, and describes himself as “excited like a child at Christmas” about the possibilities that modern technology brings to photographers and visual artists today.
